Confirmed from Tom Brown Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful park with paved walking trails and wooded trails for pedestrians and bicyclists. Lots of open areas to play or relax and also has a pretty nice sized playground. The dog park is usually busy with plenty of happy pups enjoying the well designed layout.

This is a great green space with lots of different activities available in Tallahassee. There's 2 playgrounds, disc golf, ball fields, soccer field, and volleyball, tennis and racquetball courts, and lots of trails for hiking and biking.

This is an amazing park, it is clean and has pretty much every amenity possible.. Great xc based mtb trails with low grade climbs and few challenging features but nothing too gnarly. The pump track alone is worth the visit here.

★★★★★ — Bringinheat , May 2021

Great park with endless options. Disc golf course is challenging and fun! Always lots of people here with kids and dogs, great sense of community. Dog park is huge and the people there are welcoming and dogs are usually well-behaved and play nicely with each other! Lots of trails that are a good length!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 8 mentions

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
