Confirmed from Tower Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
1868 park that shows its history with carriage rides, grass tennis courts, a wading pool & a gazebo.
What runners say about Tower Grove Park
“Tower Grove Park is a beautiful and well-maintained historic park, ideal for walking, relaxing, and spending time with family.”
“A large beautiful park with many different sections, things to do, things to see, places to sit and pavilions to have gatherings in.”
“It feels calm and welcoming, and it is also a popular spot for local events, farmers markets, and casual gatherings.”
I could have stayed in this park all day, it was inviting and enchanted. Every path felt like an adventure deeper into the unknown. The fountains and fixtures plus the wildlife made it more enjoyable. If animals are cozy here you know it's well tended.
This is one of Petey's favorite parks. Every walk for him is a mission to get to HIS destination.. If you let him guide the way, we'll end up at a different park every time. But Tower Grove Park, we end up at quite often. There's plenty of room to let him off his leash & throw the ball. Not to mention it's beautiful.
Just such a fantastic park! I am lucky enough to live right across the street and do morning walks where are you encounter lots of friendly joggers on the weekends they have the farmers market which is absolutely amazing. Live music WONDERFUL playgrounds that are well maintained AND a splash pad for summer!
Mid winter, spring is beautiful. Pavilion's can be reserved and wedding's take place by the fountain at the Piper Palm House. Great place to have wedding, and family photos. 2 separate playgrounds a small one near Grand Blvd. Larger playgrounds by the tennis courts in the center of the park.
