Confirmed from Trail Head for Swamp Rabbit Trail in Fountain Inn's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Trail Head for Swamp Rabbit Trail in Fountain Inn

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (72 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Not crowded, and probably a better view during spring.”

A nice walk out when you can't get to a larger trail. Not crowded, and probably a better view during spring.

★★★★★ — Cmb , Jan 2022

This is a really nice and less traveled section of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. I look forward to it being connected to the rest of the trail someday, but in the meantime I found it to be a great spot to walk my dog rather than do our usual loop around the neighborhood.

★★★★★ — Shannon , Jun 2023

A short piece of very nice bike/walking trail which gives you an idea of how nice it will be when it's extended north and/or south. Riding it makes you long for that extension. Come on, city of Fountain Inn, get building!

★★★★☆ — John , Aug 2019

Trail is in good shape, but there is not a lot of it. Too short for a decent bike ride or run, but long enough for a walk.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Zion Road and the Hellams Street exit (the one without parking) drops you off a couple minute walk away from downtown Fountain Inn.”
