Confirmed from Mauldin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Mauldin Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (151 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“A cozy and well-maintained park in Greenville, South Carolina—an excellent place for relaxing and enjoying a walk.”

A very small but nice park close to home. Very clean and well kept. As well as a very nice gathering place. However the walking track really needs some work I don't know if that's in the plans but just wanted to put it out there fix that and it'll be even better.

★★★★☆ — Kayla , Jun 2021

A cozy and well-maintained park in Greenville, South Carolina—an excellent place for relaxing and enjoying a walk. The green surroundings, clean walking paths, and pleasant atmosphere make it perfect for morning or evening strolls. There is a playground for kids and comfortable areas to sit and unwind.

Used to spend a lot of time here when my kids played baseball. Still a very nice park. One of several nice parks in Mauldin. The Ray Hopkins center is here too. It is a senior citizen building. There is also a nice walking path. Right next to Mauldin High School.

★★★★☆ — Steve , Apr 2018

This destination has a senior center, baseball fields, & a walking path around the fields. There is even a farmers market next to the park. Some area events take place here. Great place to picnic with a kids playground.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 2 mentions

“Nice little park with a playground for the kids, nice little walking trail with restrooms in the middle.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
