Confirmed from Trail Head, Sabercat Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved walking trail featuring scenic views and a stream, plus deer and birds.
What runners say about Trail Head, Sabercat Creek Trail
“Really cool history and well kept trail.”
“This is such a gorgeous trail in the springtime, with native trees, wild animals, and much of the trail is wheelchair accessible.”
“BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, short paved walk with few easy inclines.”
A very good trail to walk on besides flowing water. Very peaceful area. Ideal for walking, cycling and even for scooter. Trail is good for wheel chair walk too. Greenery covered water flows.
Paved walkways for 80% of the trail. Easy for families with young children - good for stroller and scooters for most way. There's a nice little stream along the trail too. Some parts are shady so it's a pretty comfortable hike.
This trail is a gem. I stumbled upon it when looking for a walk while visiting a client in the area. Really cool history and well kept trail. Super close to metro areas. There is a great lookout to the west as well. The trees and foliage in the area is my favorite. I will return again after work!
Great education experience for all ages. Many placards describing the many ancient animals that used to roam this area. Easy paved trails. Lots of flowers, birds and tiny lizards
