Confirmed from Trailhead Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, splash pad, and bike trail, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Trailhead Park
“Plenty of parking and a pavilion with bathrooms and everything was very well maintained.”
“Playground is definitely good for all ages.”
The playground is really nice and unique. The splash pad is really cute, we didn't get to do it cuz we didn't ever swimsuits and we were just passing through the town. It's nice to walk along the bridge up ahead and onto a trail that goes around the area.
It has fairly new splash pad and nice playground equipment for kids. Plenty of parking and a pavilion with bathrooms and everything was very well maintained. The trail, not sure which one runs across the back of park and splash pad which leads to fairly new bridge that overlooks Dexter St.
Nice little park with access to the Grand River Valley Trail and walking distance to downtown Ionia. The playground has some unique things to play on. The park also has a splash pad which is really nice since there are no other splash pads in the area, that I know of. Worth checking out on a hot day with the kids.
Lots of room for parking. Has a big splash pad and pavilion to eat under. Has nice bathrooms. Right on the bike trail and close enough to walk to the fairgrounds and downtown.
