Confirmed from Ionia State Recreation Area Day Use Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ionia State Recreation Area Day Use Area
Very nice picnic area with pavillion. Outdoor restroom on site. Walked approximately 300 yards down the mountain bike trail. Gear up people as the trail offers a mixed bag of terrain and hills. Watch for loose rocks on the trail. The old crematory was unexpected. God bless those listed on the stone memorial.
Great trails with access to the Grand River and the amazing rail trail. A state recreational pass is required on your vehicle.
