Confirmed from Trinity Forest Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Long paved, tree-lined trail that winds through forestland, past lakes and over the Trinity River.

This beautiful scenic trail leads to the Joppa Preserve trail. The old board docking ramp is a great place to get close to the water. The short trail is well-paved and mostly flat for all types of wheels. I love the benches and table placed close to the small pond great ideal 💡for a date night.

This entire Trinity Trail area is beautiful. These cement trails are very relaxing to walk/bike/run/etc. They are especially nice after some rain because dirt hiking is wet for a few weeks after rain. If it is dry, please note at the first 90-degree right turn (at power lines) you'll see a dirt trail to the left.

Its the most undiscovered trail in the neighborhood.... absolutely beautiful view and wildlife!!

Pretty flowers and a nice place to get some urban wild near Dallas. The Trinity Forest Trail takes you over to the Audubon Center. Here you can pick up the AT&T Trail. You can force about a 7.3 mile loop but you'll have to climb an embankment up to Parkway and travel on the busy road for about a quarter of a mile.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
