We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Tropical Hill Peak yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tropical Hill Peak
A hill in Miami? Who would have guessed. It is probably the highest point of natural land south of Flagler (not counting the landfills). It is a great place for picnics or a challenging run. The kids love rolling down the hill. The only down side is this park is surrounded by expressways.
The Hill Peak in Tropical Park is an ideal area to take photos. It’s also a beautiful way to admire a sunset, have less noise, and maybe meditate there too, I think.
I ate sh*t going down this on my bike as a kid, would go back and conquer the hill, wear a helmet!
