Confirmed from Trout Brook Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Trout Brook Trail
“Beautiful Trail and lots of benches to rest if needed be.”
Amazing addition to weha. Can't wait for it to be completed. Relaxing. Nature. Ducks. Running water. Peaceful mindful place. , I love the updates and expansion They just added this is just even better than before
This West Hartford trail was 8 to 10 feet wide and paved; it's very easy for walking with a stroller. There is parking at the Beachland Park and Elmwood Community Center. We didn't know this so we found a random spot at Norfeldt Little League field and started there.
Beautiful Trail and lots of benches to rest if needed be. Everyone walking or running by is very friendly. Do not walk or run trail alone especially women but other than that the scenery is absolutely amazing and beautiful. Nature is definitely on the trail and it’s so beautiful to see.
This is a scenic sarranade and a hike. Beautiful birds with songs of delight, sounds of rippiling waters, and the smell of greenery. A true meditation spot.
