Beachland Park used to be a dairy farm owned by the Beach Family in the 1800s. 12 acres were donated to the Town of West Hartford in 1932. The Vine Hill Creamery building was remodeled to become a clubhouse and storage. There's definitely quite a bit of history here.
Great park for people of all ages! There’s a playground for younger children around 2-4 years old, a more advanced playground for older kids, and lots of open space. The playgrounds were in great shape and there are also a few swings geared more towards older kiddos.
Very cute. Its really really nice, like in the back, drive up the hill, follow the hill upwards! And they got a toddler park, and big kid park, and then nice hill to run/frolic down. Basketball court, tennis maybe? And soccer goals.
Bring my young children there. They love the slides and swings. And the walk by the side of the pond with the geese relaxing in the water, or walking around as well. They'd like to play at the basket ball court more, but too many at each hoop. Always a great time there.
