Confirmed from Truckee River Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“A beautiful park for all seasons The park is well maintained, and great for people of all ages.”

One of the few secret places still left in Truckee that you don't need a permit for to go hang out in the snow since everything else seems like a money grab. Definitely an area to make snowmen and sled and also walk along the back part of the river If you want to take some cool pictures and have some family time

This was supposed to be a beautiful day to see my good friend get married to his dream girl. He died three weeks beforehand. Since the place was paid for, the bride decided to have a memorial there instead. It was a lovely spot. Very scenic.

A beautiful park for all seasons The park is well maintained, and great for people of all ages. I would recommend to come for the bike trails, stay for a few rounds of disc golf, and then ride into downtown for a bit of grub and coffee.

Great park with an awesome playground for kids that's shaded most of the day. There is a small guage train track surrounding the park, and on certain Saturdays there are free rides on a steam train. This is also the beginning of the Legacy Trail with a nice paved bike/hike path that follows the Truckee River.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
