Confirmed from Truman Waterfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Unless you have just never been to Key West's famous Sunset Celebration (and if you have not, you definitely should at least once in your life), this spot is way better than the much more well-known Mallory Square for amazing Key West sunsets. Same gorgeous sunsets as Mallory, but without Sunset Key blocking your view.

Great park, not in the usual path for tourists so it’s usually not very crowded which is nice. Great views of the ocean and you can see a number of coast guard vessels, noaa vessels, etc depending on the day. Lots of roosters and chickens and other wildlife that hangs out near the parks parking lots.

The dock is nice with lots of benches. There's also a big playground and water park area right across from the ship- i didn't get any pics but it looks like a fun place for the kids and was very nice. There were people there fishing, riding bikes, skating and jogging. I also saw a birthday party going on there.

I have to say something about Key West . It is not easy to find grass in the whole city. There are only very few spots in the old town . So if you book your hotel in a part of the city where there is no grass you have to walk a lot to reach these places.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
