Confirmed from Tuckaseege Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tuckaseege Park
“The park is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a welcoming environment for families, groups, and individuals alike.”
“I prefer the walk and access to the river to eat a small picnic or watch and paint the beautiful fauna and birds readily seen.”
“Love the trails, this is a great park to walk if you are one that walks for distance purposes and peaceful for those who just want to relax while they move.”
Great park for activities and walking. The walk and bicycle trails are wide and paved. There is a skate park, large and small dog park, garden, along with other amenities. The restrooms are always clean.
To avoid the "Heat" later today (THU 2025.06.26), ~05:50 i arrived at Tuckaseege Park; parked my vehicle, then quickly went for my early morning ~7 mi walk; Loop: Tuckaseege Park, and River Street Park. Tuckaseege Park, River Street Park and the neighborhood were nice and clean 👍❤️
Great park with pretty much all amenities! There's a dog park, a playground, skate park, swings, flower garden with statue, and a trail with a partial lake view!
I was last here over 8 years ago and only visited the front if the park. Today I checked out the greenway that attaches to the park and runs all the way to the Mount Holly municipal building. What a great mostly level path; paved well, clear and maintained great, and much of it along the river.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
