Confirmed from Tufa Terrace Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic trail & promenade in a natural setting leading to unique geothermal waterfalls.

“Fairly easy trail, best to do in the morning when it was cool!”
The Spring Water is truly magical. It was extremely hot !!! I was amazed to actually feel it. I also went in to the bath house Spa to rest and enjoy the specifics of Spring Water. Great relaxation and nice walking trails.
Great hike up to the tower. It's about $8 to go to the top of the tower, but the view is worth it. Nice place to be for sunset overlooking the baths and hotels of Hot Springs AR
Nice short trail, easy and shows many of the covered (and named) springs. The water flow with sediment build-up is very cool for showing kids the minerals. Definitely a must do!
Very nice trail at Hot Springs National park.it was the parks 190year celebration. Was great to be there ...
Trail conditions & character
“In a mostly urban national park, this is the neatest natural feature--a series of cascading geothermal waterfalls.”
“But just down the hill you can access mineral water and bathhouse on every block”
“Parking is difficult to find since everything to see is concentrated into a single area.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
