Enjoyed this park during the Brood X cicada emergence. Shaded but enough sun to enjoy a relaxing afternoon or hike some trails.
Great little park with a large parking area and access to walking and biking trails. Being next to the DR canal and kayak rental, it also makes an excellent launch location for paddling the canal or southern end of Carnegie Lake and Stoney Brook.
Tarring Basing Park, nestled in the heart of our community, offers an idyllic setting for those seeking refuge from the hustle and bustle of daily life and an excellent opportunity for a rejuvenating hike.
I just discovered this park and am extremely excited about it since it is near to me. There is ample parking, a picnic area towards the back of the parking lot, and nearby a path which leads to the Canal path. The Canal is a great jogging & biking path,or a great place for a nice walk.
