Confirmed from Tusculum City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tusculum City Park
“Great place for the kids to play, nice and clean bathrooms, awesome walking trail, and usually not very crowded!”
“Great place to walk my dog love this park so clean.”
Very pleasant experience here .we had a small picnic at the pavilion plenty of picnic tables . Has a hiking trail and walk around path which was good. Plus a school neighbors the park .Free parking and handicap parking.
My kids love to come and play on the playground and I'll walk around the park perimeter. It's got a pavilion with picnic tables too, just an all around good place for a simple family outing.
I love this park. It feels very safe. We enjoy pushing our stroller around the perimeter. The trees provide so much wonderful shade. The leaves are beautiful in the fall.
This is a great little park for young children. It is attached to a 6-mile walking trail which is tree-covered, next to a stream, and it is just lovely.

“There is a short loop walking trail, then there is a few mile long trail the you can follow it isn't a loop however so you can have someone pick you up or just go back around.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
