Easy to get to, nice place to walk. Little playground before you get to the walkway to waterfalls. Generally safe for families, as long as you don’t have kids that get too close to the rockpile or waterfalls and pools. Very nice view of river and dam, great for birdwatching if you’re into that.
Went there with a group of friends after dinner. The walk-in was pretty extensive but well worth it after getting there. Enjoyed the falls, the view of the dam, the river, and the coolness of the evening. It was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to just relax and enjoy life.
Beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to visit. Playground, waterfall and fishing area. Various trails to hike on, very scenic area.
Posted a review months back as the Rockpile Day use park. Still a great place with walking trails, play ground, picnic tables, restrooms and plenty of parking. It's a short walk to a waterfall and cave area in the side of a cliff. A boat ramp and parking also nearby with areas for fishing.
