Confirmed from Upper Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park on Lake Michigan with a playground, scenic views, hiking/biking trails & beach access.

My family and I had a great time here. For a while, we were the only people here, then one other couple arrived. Definitely not busy and plenty of room to run around. My two kids who are 7 and 9 had a blast! One note, there are two ways to get to the beach.
This place is perfect for walking, hiking trails up the bluff, or enjoying the 2 parks. Possibility Playground is an awesome adventure for kids, and there's plenty of room to throw a softball or play Frisbee. Well... maybe flying remote control devices is better than Frisbee, unless you're an expert.
The upper Lake Park has a really nice beach house where you can go to the bathroom and change into your swimsuit. The beach however had a warning about bacteria levels and it's quite a walk from the parking.
We did a Pet Walk here for the Wisconsin Humane Society. This was our first time visiting this area and the Upper Lake Park. It is beautiful, clean and a nice place to check out with the pup!
