Confirmed from Uvalda Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Uvalda Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (38 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful trail for an easy mid-day walk.”

Great walking or biking trails for all ages. Its so peaceful out in the range. But if you're just in the mood for tacos almost every night there is a blue taco truck that serves AMAZING food.

★★★★★ — Josh , Aug 2021

Beautiful trail for an easy mid-day walk. The trail is mostly flat so it's great for those who struggle with elevation changes. Saw plenty of deer and a few birds. Absolutely loved it.

★★★★★ — Kate , Nov 2022

Long trail with many open spaces. Dotted with trees and some birds and deer.

★★★★★ — Steve , Jan 2024

I enjoy these trails, do not expect to find lots of shade. The trails of Rocky Mountain Wildlife preserve aka Rocky Mountain Arsenal are a great inner city getaway and time well spent exploring.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Flat & fast 5 mentions

“Awesome place for an easy run - flat, soft ground and a variety of loops give you many paths to explore.”
