Confirmed from Valley Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This green space features a baseball complex, football fields & trail, plus spots for fishing.
What runners say about Valley Creek Park
“The restrooms were fairly clean for the amount of people in attendance.”
“Beautiful park and large pond to walk/run around.”
“To me one of the best parks in all of dallas metro plex areas they have great shade trees.”
“Nice and quiet place for a walking or just have some peaceful moment in mate.”
This park is great for fishing, on The Weekends they have a lot of recreational sports going on so I would avoid coming on the weekends. Park is shaded very nicely, but the walk from the parking area to it is kind of far. If you want to be semi close to it it’s best to park on the east side parking lot.
This park is just outstanding!! To me one of the best parks in all of dallas metro plex areas they have great shade trees. Big size grills bathrooms lakes fishing big size fields for soccer/baseball/football all your outdoor sports needs bike riding.
Great park to bring the family to walk, enjoy the playground, take pics or even enjoy a football game. Peaceful and always well kept from what I've witnessed. You're able to bring tents, coolers or even enjoy concessions during the games.
We love the park. 2 lakes, ducks, turtles, friendly people, and a 1 mile track around the park. It has football, futbol, and baseball fields.
