Confirmed from Vandever Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy park featuring an open lawn & playscape for kids, plus tennis courts with pickleball lines.
What runners say about Vandever Park
“Small, but always clean and grass maintained, kids have fun here.”
“Nice little neighborhood park, wasn't anyone there so I walked around with my dog & hung out in the shade.”
Vandever Park is a decent size park, great for a smaller gathering for the surrounding houses and apartments. There is a playground, swing set, funnel ball, tennis courts (2), and a picnic shelter. It is a bit limited in size as there are larger ones elsewhere in Broken Arrow. About 500 feet away is the St.
Simple park, but clean. Has two swings, separate from the playground area. Playground newer with a slide. Room for the kiddos to run around. Generally, it's not very crowded. Nice place to stop if you're just looking to let the kiddos get some energy out.
Nice little neighborhood park, wasn't anyone there so I walked around with my dog & hung out in the shade. Nice playground equipment for the kids.
