Confirmed from Veterans Field's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering softball and baseball fields, a trail, and views of the lake.

I come here for the Wakefield Farmer's Market every Saturday from 9am-1pm. The Farmer's Market is great and has so many vendors selling locally made fresh honey, fresh produce, fresh fish, fresh pasta, fresh dog treats, fresh sauces/marinades, and so much more!

Veterans Field is fabulous spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks. The lake front field area offers ample ground space to take a seat, rest your feet, and enjoy the spectacular show that Wakefield puts on. There's convenient free parking near the softball field.

It was a beautiful sunset, not many bugs, the fish were rising, lots of people fishing, super cute rock garden, the ducks were all over the lake with their little ones, and there is a 3 1/2…
