Large enough area for a group of kids, and parents. New play things added this year which is GREAT. Large vantage points to keep an eye out for the kids. Been going there for over 30 years now Kids and grandkids. Best time to go is either early before 1pm or at 3pm the day campers are there other times.
Veterans Memorial Park is a beautiful and well-maintained space that’s perfect for relaxing or taking a walk. The grounds are clean, and the memorials are a thoughtful tribute to those who served. It’s a great place to bring family, enjoy some fresh air, or just take a moment to reflect.
Great walking access from many points plus parking, so many fields and gathering spots, lots of locals playing impromptu games you can join or cheer, great spray/sprinkler waterpark and playground, wooded walks for fitness, big covered area with lots of picnic tables... Great courts, lots of space to play in. They have tennis, basketball courts, big field for softball and baseball. Picnic areas and parks for kids to play in. Care to play some Bocce? They have that too! Lots of parking and nice walking paths!
