Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large playground with baseball fields, wooded walking trails & a picnic pavilion.
What runners say about Veterans Memorial Park
“Lots of playground equipment, tables under a gazebo, big shady trees, dog friendly and big field.”
We were in the area while visiting family in Doylestown. Wow, what a nice park! The playgrounds are very nice. The bigger one has some very interesting features...like a platform under one end and a ladder to the second floor. The smaller playset is nice as well with a cool looking fish bridge!
Variety of facilities: Parks named Veterans Memorial often pack many amenities — sports fields, pools, skate parks, walking paths, playgrounds. This means they work for many groups (families, sports teams, people wanting a casual walk, etc.).
Perfect spot for a walk to catch some pokemon with plenty of pokestops!

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
