Confirmed from Vickery Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic place featuring a historic mill, covered bridge & man-made waterfall, plus hiking trails.

“The trails are not well marked along the way and some even have trees that have fallen down so it needs to be maintained a little better and marked better.”

Nice park! Beautiful Trees, & Water Fall! Loved the Water fall which was less than one mile from the parking lot. Trail is about 3.5 mile which might take 1 H 20 Min to complete if you don’t stop to see the beautiful views 😁 Place is good for hiking, walking & running.
This is a great park with hiking trails. The park has some steep hills and stairs on one side of the river. The trails are not well marked along the way and some even have trees that have fallen down so it needs to be maintained a little better and marked better.
Its a beautiful, peacful place. Parking was easy, the trail to the waterfall itself was quite flat and would be quote easy for most to cross. Overall, recommended to check it out with your family.
Very nice trail and surroundings for a lovely walk near river. Did much smaller than the entire trail in park but still good enough for single day. Will visit again. Things to visit for sure include covered bridge and dam with waterfall view. Parking was easy to find around evening on a weekend.
Trail conditions & character
“Getting down to the waterfall river is a little tricky and you might get hurt if you're not athleticly inclined or have the proper shoes.”
“There are a lot of areas to get in the water closer to the parking lot (turn left at the mill instead of going across the bridge), but it gets crowded on hot days.”
“The trails are not well marked along the way and some even have trees that have fallen down so it needs to be maintained a little better and marked better.”
“There is enough shade along the way, which makes it comfortable even during warmer days.”
“You could view the fall from either side and climb down the rocks to view from the bottom.”
“I didn't see a single dog off leash and was sooo happy that people were abiding by the rules (though I did see a lot of poo on the trail).”
“The moment you start walking, it feels peaceful and slightly tucked away, even though it is close to the city.”
“At the beginning of the park, the path is paved cement, this oath leads you to the bridge, some information about the mills, and the creek.”
