Confirmed from Victor C. Waryas Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green picnic spot at the river's edge featuring slides and swings, plus a play area.

Victor C. Waryas Park is one of Poughkeepsie’s hidden gems. Nestled right along the Hudson River, this charming waterfront park offers stunning views of the river, surrounding mountains, and the beauty of the Hudson Valley.
It was a smogy day due to wildfires but a nice walk! The gentleman on the elevator up to the railtrail was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the elevator. It's a shame all the picnic tables are gone. Don't know how anyone is supposed to enjoy the bbqs at the waterfront.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spectacular Views and Tranquil Waters I I had an absolutely wonderful time visiting today! The weather was perfect, and the views were nothing short of spectacular.
Nice little park to enjoy the nice views. Bring the kids as there's a nice play structure. Walk along the Hudson. A couple nice restaurants but they are a little pricey and not real kid friendly. Small parking lot but people come and go often so you should be able to get a spot.
