Easy hike with great views. Decent elevation and a solid 2-ish mile loop. Don’t get tricked by the maps directions, head to Villa Montalvo center and park in lot 4 (for free). Hours are restricted and I think the lots close at 5pm (in January) so check ahead if you’re wanting to go later in the afternoon.
It is a great short drive from the residential areas to the parking lot here. Then it is a great short hike to the top. In short, this is a noncommittal endeavor. I find I usually have to drive 30 minutes into the mountains for a similar nature trail with a view.

Nested 5 mins ro DT Saratoga this was such a wonderful surprise! Beautiful gardens, somewhat easy and short trails to the lookout. Souledully beautiful on the rainy they we were visiting.
