Confirmed from Vineyard Park Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open trail featuring 1.1-mile loops and tree identification, as well as a pond.
What runners say about Vineyard Park Nature Area
“During my visit, the trail was well maintained, easy to walk, no ticks, but saw a small snake sunning on the trail.”
“Vineyard Park Nature Area is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained.”
Nice open trails and constant breezes. Quiet place to enjoy nature. One of the cleanest and cool looking water I've ever seen. Great place to meditate on life and enjoy the moment.
Great little nature area. Stocked pond on the south side, several little trails to explore. We didn't catch any fish today, but had a bunch of bites! Word to the wise, BUG SPRAY! We found several ticks after just a short 1/2 mile walk. Other than ticks lots of other wildlife, turtles, birds, snakes.
Good stop along 70 to stretch your legs and take family/dog on an easy hike. .5 and 1.1 mile loops
Went twice. Evening visit was buggy, and did not see many birds. Early morning visit was not buggy and lots of varieties of birds. Trails were not well-maintained, some were just mowed paths that needed mowing again. Wearing shorts can be problematic due to grass and bugs.
