Confirmed from Voiers "Pit" Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Voiers "Pit" Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (404 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful place with 2 small floating islands, ducks, a crane.”

Wonderful for a walk anytime of the day! Some areas under construction but would still go back. Well thought out for a community park.

We were traveling from Houston to Phoenix and stopped in Deming for the night. This park was walking distance from our hotel. It’s an oasis in the desert, quite cool when we were there. Nice to see people fishing and enjoying the outdoors. If I lived here then I’d be at this park every day.

Really impressive. Great place for walks, taking your kids, riding bikes, scooters, having lunch, doing some fishing and now water fun. A fantastic park that has it all. Can't wait to go back.

great stop along our route. lots of ducks that followed us everywhere (probably use to getting food from people). because of the ducks, we had to keep the dogs (bird dogs) close. 😂 this was a good sized lake to walk around. a few people fishing and others walking but not at all crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
