Confirmed from Volunteer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational trails along wetlands and a children's play area, plus picnic spaces.
What runners say about Volunteer Park
“I remember going to this playground when I was young, and it's nice to see it's still very well maintained and up-to-date.”
Good, Clean park to go for a walk and escape the big city. There is a trail that goes around the lake that amounts to about a mile. During the week and on weekend they have food trucks and vendors come out for a farmers market. The food trucks are great and allows families to get out and do something different.
Simply a wonderful park, has almost everything. You could walk around the lake with piers sadly the main bridge possibly for construction/safety reasons. Has multiple playgrounds close to each other, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, and a bathroom.
Nice park with lot of slides and swings for kids Nature trail for walking, jogging or biking Tennis and basketball courts Farmers market on Saturday mornings. You should definitely visit this park If you are in Plantation and searching for park to entertain your kids.
If you enjoy walking, this park has a nice nature trail. You can see different types of birds and other creatures. Lots of trees. I highly recommend.
