We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Wake Forest Greenway - Sanford Creek yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wake Forest Greenway - Sanford Creek
Very pretty trail, one bit of it has these fun painted sewage(?) silos of sorts, one of which I included a picture of. It's nicely tucked away from the hubbub of city life for the most part, and borders on the nearby elementary school so it's quite peaceful.
Love this sweet trail. Creek flowing, away from mouse of city, smooth path with spot exercise equip along way!
This Greenway leads to the Heritage High school park. It has a lot of wild life. We enjoyed our walk here.
Had a great walk. The path was clear and clean, friendly walkers and a lovely day
