Confirmed from Walker Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Shady park with beaches, playgrounds and picnic tables.
What runners say about Walker Park
“It's a beautiful park that's very well maintained and managed.”
“This has always been a favorite park of mine, there is a very nice walking trail with access straight to the beach, with beautiful views of the bay.”
A cool place to go. Fun play structure for the kiddos. Creek with bridges running down to the lake. Covered pavilion with tables and outside grill. Nice place to walk my small dog. Walkway down to the beach, was too steep for physically challenged. Fully fenced. Restrooms. New construction of new restrooms.
Nice clean park with limited parking and great beach access. Playground for kids, along with a grill and several tables for picnics. Wear water shoes of some kind if you’re planning to swim, get in the water, or walk on the beach. The rocks are covered with barnacles that are super sharp.
Beautiful beach front wear you can relax and play, there is a dirt hill to go down but there is a ramp leading down to the beach
What a hidden gem! We were in the area looking at homes and decided to stop at Walker Park to enjoy some sunshine and time by the water. The park was very clean and well maintained. The playground equipment, picnic tables, and restrooms were all spotless.
