Confirmed from Walleck Ranch Neighborhood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy park with a modern playground, basketball court & 2 picnic shelters with BBQ grills.
What runners say about Walleck Ranch Neighborhood Park
“Pretty little park in a safe and clean neighborhood on Willow.”
Best playground, kids love the seesaw, lots of grass to run around in.
A great place for family! Wonderful for children to run around and enjoy themselves. Nicely kept and well manicured grassy areas. Only bad point, no doors on the stalls in the restrooms. My family spoke of "paving the roads around the park," to accommodate additional parking.
Neighborhood park with playground equipment for young children, modern restrooms, adjacent to Mohave wash walking/biking trail, outdoor basketball court and picnic shelters. Many bushes and some trees encourage local birds including quail. Dog park just across Willow to the east at north end from the park.
Very nice park with plenty to do. There were 2 swings that were tied together and were marked as couldn't be used when I was there. The bathrooms were clean. The walking path around there is pretty nice as well and adds to the options of what you can do while enjoying the park.
Trail conditions & character
“Have stopped at other “parks” closer to the freeway which are always full of people whose primary purpose there is to let their dogs out, and no playgrounds.”
“Neighborhood park with playground equipment for young children, modern restrooms, adjacent to Mohave wash walking/biking trail, outdoor basketball court and picnic shelters.”
