Confirmed from Wapping Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with kid-friendly hiking trails and picnic tables.
What runners say about Wapping Park
“Beautiful freshly mowed trails, nice hike, and beautiful views”
Great trails for an easy walk through the woods especially with little ones just beware if you go after a rainy day or week it is really muddy in spots so wear the appropriate shoes. Nice bridges!
Lovely place for a walk, the wildflowers in the fields were absolutely incredible this day!
Beautiful and peaceful place to walk. Just be careful with the dog poop people are too lazy to pick up.
Great place to walk around. The woods area can be a little bit muddy in the spring so don’t wear nice shoes

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
