Confirmed from Waterfall Loop Trail - Henry Ford Estate's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Waterfall Loop Trail - Henry Ford Estate
“Beautiful trail but not a loop and you can't get close to the waterfalls but real nice nonetheless.”
Guys if you are feeling bad that you couldn't go to UP to see fall colors. Take a hike of this waterfall loop and you won't be missing out much. Really quite, wild and scenic walk.
Great trail for walks, biking, and tea in the winter or late fall when the bushes die and the trail opens up, otherwise its a mess to walk through in the heat. A lot of people think the trail ends by the rapids across from the Estate, but you can actually take a path through the woods.
So relaxing and beautiful I love this trail love all the trees. Highly recommend to go for a walk, bike ride, dog walking etc. make sure to bring cold water and you will be okay. Plenty of shade and trees so it stays cool. Love the bridges and water. I adore this trail so much.
