Confirmed from Waterford Oaks County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

4 miles, 1.5 paved of very nice trails for walking and taking along your best friend. 🐕 They also have the Wave Pool, Bmx Track, Paradise Peninsula for the kids, Tennis Courts, Horse shoe pits, Picnic Area. They also have a very nice sledding hill for the winter months. Great for the nature lover.

In my opinion Oakland County Parks are tax dollars well spent! Each has something unique to offer. Although I don't utilize the waterpark or the BMX track here, the park is conveniently located, is well maintained, with some good trails. I especially appreciate that the paved trails are plowed in the winter.

There is a lot to do at this park. Especially during Summer with the water park and BMX area. We go for the walking trails though. Such beautiful walking paths with nature encompassing you.

★★★★★ — Lindsay , Oct 2021

Walkable trails with some paved which is nice if you don't want to get muddy. Get muddy and see nature, it's beautiful here. Great playscape area for the kiddos. They also have a few small tennis courts.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
