Great spot along the river to enjoy nature and get away from the city feel. Picnic tables for reading or lunch, benches shaped like a bending river for sitting and enjoying the tranquility, beautiful dirt paths to explore the riverside, playground and basket ball courts. And!
Nice trail and great view of the river. Mixed trail walking, dog walkers, bicyclists and kids. A mid size children's park for 1-8 year olds. Three picnic tables with benches close to the trail. I did not see a public restroom or Water fountain but there maybe a coffee store nearby.
A hidden gem! We decided to bike from Weston on the Mass bike trail in the direction of Waltham, and found ourselves in Watertown on the Charles River Greenway. A wonderful escape into nature in the middle of the urban town.
This is a really fun place and combines the best of a park, a trail, and a waterfront. The 2 hour parking alongside Charles River road is very helpful. Perfect for A Walk to Remember
