Beautiful walks. Almost 3 miles for full loop. Easy to add distance with sub-loops. The river runs through it as well as a large pond. Abundant geese, Hawks, eagles, etc.
What a beautiful park! Paved trails wind around slightly rolling hills. Went there to see sunset and discovered the perfect lake for reflections. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to location to watch the sunset without any buildings or powerlines obstructing your views.
Frequented this park a lot over the summers, people come to walk, bike, board, rollerblade, all kinds of things. Lots of trails, but impossible to get lost. Mostly prairie and large expanses of nothing but. Spend quite a few hours just admiring the beauty.
This park is a great stop for people of all ages and mobility levels. A wide, paved path encircles a central pond. The terrain is quite flat and easily managed. But there is also a lot to see. Birds, including bald eagles in the winter, are abundant. Fish jump in the pond. Trees and wildflowers cover the landscape.
