Confirmed from Watters Crossing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Clean playground with surrounding trees make the waiting area comfortable for parents.”

A great little neighborhood park with a good playground, pavilion, a wide open field not often used for official sporting events, water fountain, paved walking trails and benches. No public restroom available.

Love our neighborhood parks and trails! I am so glad the HOA planted so many wonderful trees when the neighborhood was established in the early 90s. I love all the beautiful mature trees. They are among my fav reasons for having moved here!

Good park to enjoy time with family and friends. There’s a nice walking trail loop around the park for people who like to walk or run. It’s located within a community, so it’s a nice spot for them to come to this park. There is a small play area even for small kids which is very nice too!

★★★★☆ — Keerthan , Sep 2022

Very clean, safe, and well maintained concrete pathway. The path is extremely suitable for walking and biking and meanders through a mostly wooded area, at least on one side. It also as the added benefit of a creek nearby for a good portion of the trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
