Confirmed from The Trail at the Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with walking trails, forested areas, and a creek.
What runners say about The Trail at the Woods
“Very clean big area I only walk small portion.”
“Overall, it’s a great place for a simple, scenic walk, and with a little maintenance, it could be even more inviting.”
“Very quiet and the trees give you constant shade.”
“The path is well-marked and easy to navigate, making it perfect for casual hikers, families, and anyone looking to enjoy nature without a strenuous trek.”
“so nice and quiet trail like forest in the city, walking and enjoying the green scenary and fragrance of the wild flowers.”
Nice trails and many beautiful spots. The only reason why not 5 stars is that there are multiple trails with a dead end with no warning, so you can be walking on a paved trail in the woods and it just stops and you have to turn around.
Nice little nature trail with several spots to seat down and enjoy! Wide path to walk on. If you don’t like the nature trail, there is a paved trail. Recommended!
Beautiful trails. Lots of woods, it has both paved and unpaved trails. Very quiet, not crowded at all on the unpaved areas.
Nice place for a stroll in nature and to learn about wetlands. It's only a brief walk from the street to get to the Trail entrance
