Confirmed from Wawayanda State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A lake, woodland hills, mountains & 60+ miles of trails allow for year-round outdoor recreation.

Took my kids and wife last week. It was fun the scenery is great. We had lunch by a picnic area and took a drive over by the lake to check it out, I will definitely be visiting that lake and I will post pictures when I do. This time we walked some trails and got an idea of where we can walk.
The view from parking lot is outstanding I mean you can just sit on your hood and be happy. There is a playground for the little ones a lot of tables and grills for your picnic. You can swim, fish, enjoy the water on your paddle board, kayak, canoe or boat. You don't have a boat that's ok you can rent on.
Amazing beauty of Northern New Jersey. We have planned multiple times but this summer it is going to be the time for us to explore this Gem. Wawayanda State Park, spanning over 34,350 acres across Sussex and Passaic Counties, is a true natural gem in northern New Jersey.
