Confirmed from Fuller Mountain Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hike featuring a lookout point, with rock ledges, deer sightings and parking.
What runners say about Fuller Mountain Preserve
“A quick half hour hike leads to absolutely stunning looks over farmlands west of the Hudson valley”
“Easy hike, you can definitely do it.”
What a beautiful, wonderful hike! A great new destination for us. Park on the opposite side ( Bowen Rd) and cross the street to access. Good idea to wear solid shoes, trails are rocky. And, the path we took crossed water( small moving stream) but still needing to be careful - 2x going and returning.
Easy hike, you can definitely do it. Perfect view and nice trail. You can do it in 20 minutes if you are around.
Short but enjoyable hiking trail. The green/orange trail opposite the parking lot leads to a beautiful overlook. The trail on the side of the parking lot is even more short with no notable destination. Doing every trail in both directions is pretty quick and not much of an exercise.
It's a lovely walk with 2 routes, the green is a meandering route with a few steep ups and downs but the orange is more level and easier. We usually do the green route out to the lookout, which is especially lovely in winter, and the orange route back. Not sure on the distances of each but not more than a mile.

“Fair warning, it's a bit rocky, but isn't that part of the fun?”
“The left side of the North loop is a nice gradual path (right part of the loop is a bit steeper).”
