Confirmed from Weaver Lake Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
80-acre park featuring a beach, tennis courts, bike trails, a playground & a picnic area.
What runners say about Weaver Lake Community Park
“The lake is so beautiful and serene.”
“I particularly enjoyed the fact that it was not overly crowded, which allowed me to fully appreciate its serene atmosphere.”
Weaver Lake Community Park is one of the best I’ve seen in this country so far. This had a mixture of everything a family gathering could want. Fishing, walking trails, various types of ball fields, picnic areas and even a place for swimming.
3-15-24 4:30pm, air temp 50. My wife and I came here to take our two medium-sized dogs for a walk. I would imagine it was so quiet due to the time of year. Very large parking lot here with many spaces, we were one of four vehicles.
Beautiful park..small beach in summer. Great walking trails. Lake views. RICE LAKE doesn't have any parking with access since it is a residential area so this is what pooped up for parking. Alot of space for picnics too.
Cool beach area and trails. Great dock and really good size deck. Nice spot for catching sunsets!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
