Confirmed from Maple Grove Forest Preservation Area B's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Maple Grove Forest Preservation Area B
“Very nice quiet walk in three woods.”
Beautiful place to walk!!! My only question is they post that they have hunts in the fall. How do we know of someone is currently hunting ? Will their be an updated sign saying to keep out?
Nice little quick hike! Surrounded by trees, lots of birds and squirrels! Took tons of pictures of shrooms today!
Nice little park to go hike around. Parking lot has room for a handful of cars, the main trails are either gravel or wood chipped. I noticed a fair number of spur trails that branch off of the main trails and lead to nice little secluded areas.
Good for a short walk. An additional sign is placed at the entrance when there is an active hunt in progress. I stayed to the main trails during this time.

- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
