Confirmed from West Deptford Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring soccer and baseball fields, as well as a playground, walking trails and basketball courts.
What runners say about West Deptford Park
“New, well kept playground with slides, swings, baby swings, ladders, and monkey bars.”
Great park nestled away in Midlantic Industrial Park. Soccer fields, baseball fields, pickle ball, basketball courts, jogging/walking track, gym stations, kids playground and is dog friendly
Nice park, especially for sports oriented people. Lots of open fields and some formal ball fields. An asphalt walking path winds around the park. There are also some physical fitness apparatuses and several basketball courts.
Lived in the area for years and only just discovered this park. Very nice place for running and walking with a 1+ mile long, wide paved perimeter path. Now on my list of regular spots to walk and run along with Chestnut Branch and Washington Lake.
Lots of soccer fields as well as a cross country trail that has paved sections as well as dirt paths that extend into wooded areas. Can easily get 3 or 4 miles of walking or running in with low grades.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
