Confirmed from West Greenwich Sand Dunes' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Area featuring sand dunes, hiking trails and hunting, as well as open space.
What runners say about West Greenwich Sand Dunes
“Lots of walking, small pond too that is clean, no bathroom, tons of high sand dunes to play on!”
“For photos, relaxing everything it's beautiful and quiet”
“It's peaceful & huge, so even if there are other people, you may never see them!”
Great area for hiking and dog walking. It's a DEM area, so orange is their favorite color, especially during hunting season. There is no cost to enter, and the scenery is just great. Remember to check for ticks since the deer like this place, too.

A great place to bring your dog, especially on the week days. Plenty of open space for them to be off leash and run around. If you go during the week days, it is usually very quiet. I will often go and not see anyone else around. Weekends can get busy.
Wide open space Amazing scenery for a great nature walk Also great hunting area if interest. Walking here is freedom

- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
