Confirmed from West Orange Trail Bikes and Blades' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🪧 well-marked 3 mentions

“The staff will help adjust your bike for the most comfortable ride, and it's always a clean and easy to navigate parking lot.”

We rented bikes to ride the trails. The prices were fair and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They have 2 types of bikes you can rent. Comfort bikes that are like Cruisers they cost $9 an hour and Road bikes that cost $12 an hour. We did the trail towards Winter Gardens it was 4.5 miles.

$10/hr or $40 for 4hr+ for a standard comfort bike. Your own bike is no charge to pop onto the trail. The facility has good parking, and the most welcoming staff working. The trail was easy, smooth, and provided plenty of shade. Definitely recommend!

We've had the pleasure of visiting the bike shop at the Oakland station along the West Orange Trail on two occasions. In both instances, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, providing diligent and attentive service.

★★★★★ — April , Dec 2025

Great location and selection of bikes. Comfort bikes start at $10 per hour. Road bikes $15 per hour and e-bikes $60 per day. The shop is stocked with lots of extras as well as snacks and drinks. The sop is on mile marker 1 of the West Orange Trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
