Confirmed from West Side Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy outdoor activity area with a pavilion & picnic tables, plus walking paths & a water fountain.

Great park on the west side of town. Everything seemed very well maintained and there are even a couple of large pieces of sculpture, a central fountain, gazebo, a memorial, and plenty of beautiful flower gardens. It was nice to hang out on my lunch period on a sunny day with plenty of shade trees.
This is a fabulous park near the heart of downtown. For kids it has a great playground that is fenced (parents you know how awesome that sounds). For adults it has many paths to walk along, a beautiful fountain to sit by, and many trees to provide shade.
Love this park. There is always activity, people playing basketball or tennis or skateboarding. The playground is a good size for kids of varying ages, the trees are beautiful, there's nice baseball space and plenty of grass too run and play in. And we love the expanded/ updated sidewalk through the park.
This park is absolutely beautiful and full of charm! You can really feel its history — it’s one of those older parks that’s been well cared for over the years. It’s always clean, peaceful, and feels very safe, whether you’re walking alone or bringing the family.

“I once walked my dog in this park and apparently that is the reason I'm giving this review.”
