Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil park boasting a paved path around a small lake and a pond, as well as picnic areas.
What runners say about Heritage Park
“This is a beautiful park that is perfect to relax at or walk around, and yet I have never seen a crowd.”
“This is a small quiet park of a long path that connects a bike/hiking trail from the Parkland College Area to a second park Kaufman Lake.”
Not crowded, lovely and relaxing walk looking at the lake. Plenty of empty space to walk a dog or let your children run, or play soccer or baseball. There's a picnic table to sit, relax and eat.
Nice place to take a walk and do some birdwatching. Its not very crowded, and there is a paved path.
Nice paved trail around the lake, connected to some extended trails as well.
This park feels like a real hidden gem. It has a large grassy area with trees and picnic tables interspersed, it has benches on the lakeside, and it has a long walking trail encompassing the lake. This is a beautiful park that is perfect to relax at or walk around, and yet I have never seen a crowd.
